In addition to our department teaching staff we have a team of support staff which provides services to the departments, the students and are involved in the running of the school.

Graduate Teacher Training

We are part of the Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC) which provides school-centred training for graduates. At any time we would normally have three trainee teachers. Colchester County High School for Girls are delighted to be part of the government’s initiative to give outstanding schools a leading role in driving forward the quality of teaching and learning in education today. NEETSA (North East Essex Teaching School Alliance) officially received designation in April 2013.
